Summary and scope
As part of the new Highfields Library project, two demountable buildings (“buildings”) are currently located within the Highfields Cultural Civic Precinct at Highfields (Balmoral / Sean McCarthy Way, Highfields). With the new Highfields Library Project now complete, Council wishes to relocate these buildings from their current location to another two Council sites. Council has identified the Goombungee and Pittsworth Regional Depot sites as the agreed destinations for these buildings. Their relocation is set to compliment existing amenities and assets and to act as additional staff offices and meeting spaces for workers at these locations.
