Design and Construction of Splash Park Facility - Robinvale

Summary and scope

Swan Hill Rural City Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified contractors for the design, specification, supply of materials, equipment required and construction of the new Splash Park Facility at Robinvale Leisure Centre. The Splash Park design must include multiple water features / equipment to engage the community and stand out as a feature at the Robinvale Outdoor Pool. Tenderer’s must consider the requirements that are mentioned in the tender document, however Council is open to new ideas and designs. The final design must comply with the Australian standards and council guidelines, including the location and works budget for the proposed Splash Park. Tenderer’s should allow adequate participation in community consultations to finalise the detailed designs of the project. Responses will be evaluated using the following criteria: Price The Tender will be evaluated based on best value. Best value is determined by the overall score received from the evaluation criteria below in comparison to the price. Compliance with Specifications (40%) The Tenderer needs to response and address all, part or some of the requirements outlined in the specification document Track Record (20%) The Tenderer needs to demonstrate if they have completed work for Council before. The Tenderer needs to advise the number of the same or similar projects they have completed previously. The Tenderer needs to provide the details of the references from the previous projects. Availability of Skills/Resources (20%) The Tenderer needs to provide satisfactory evidences to prove they have appropriate skills and resources to accomplish the project satisfactorily. Social Economic Benefit (5%) Demonstrate the social and economic benefit to Swan Hill Municipality provide supporting documentation of contributions made to the community in the form of donation or free services etc. Environmental Benefit (5%) Demonstrate commitment to environmental sustainability Provision of detailed construction schedule, community engagement and awareness plan (10%) The Tenderer needs to provide a detailed construction schedule including milestone, major and minor activities on daily basis. The Tenderer needs to provide a plan for community engagement/ interaction and awareness.
