Summary and scope
Stage 1 – Report, Design & Cost Plan Provide a comprehensive report, design and cost plan which includes recommendations listed in Appendix 1. Compliance may be achieved but not limited to engaging a suitably qualified and competent person who is knowledgeable in the safe functioning and layout of livestock sale yards to assess and provide written advice on required safety improvements to this facility. This is to ensure that the facility meets the current relevant industry safety standards and AS 5340:2020, whilst ensuring that any advice provided is to take into account the detail provided in Appendix 1 when considering any infrastructure upgrades to the facility. Stage 2 – Delivery of phase one works is expected to commence from July 2023 subject to the priority items identified and approval of the council budget process for the work identified in the Stage 1 cost plan.
