Request for Information - Grass Maintenance

Summary and scope

The Council of the City of Gold Coast (City) is seeking information in relation to the scope detailed below. This information will assist the City to further refine their requirement and understand the capabilities of the market to fulfil this requirement. Scope: The City is seeking qualified and experienced personnel to undertake Grass Maintenance at various locations within the boundaries of the areas controlled by the City. Grass Maintenance will consist of the following Maintenance Services: • Grass cutting services in parks, footpaths, median strips and road reserves • Weed control services along road reserves. The Maintenance Services comprise the following proposed Separable Portions: • Separable Portion 1: North Zone • Separable Portion 2: East Zone • Separable Portion 3: West Zone • Separable Portion 4: South Zone • Separable Portion 5: Light Rail Managed Service The City is also considering the possibility of including an additional Separable Portion for Water and Waste – Grass Cutting and Weed Control Services. Zone Maps, Area Size, Service Level, Historical Rotation Programs, and the proposed Key Performance Indicators for the new contractual arrangements have been provided as Attachments.
