Summary and scope
The Port Hedland Marina and Waterfront Masterplan (‘Masterplan’) was adopted by the Town of Port Hedland (Town) in December 2019 and subsequently endorsed at State level by the Marina Taskforce (comprising the Town, Pilbara Development Commission, Pilbara Ports Authority, Development WA, Department of Transport and Department of Treasury). The landside component of this development is important and crucial to the community of the Town, enabling activation of existing underutilized waterfront land and the provision of spaces for community access for events and general use, community groups and commercial enterprises to be accommodated. The Town is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to undertake the full design process for two (2) key pieces of infrastructure, located at the new Port Hedland Marina. The tender is split into (2) separable portions to fit in with the works already under construction at the site and support the growth of its use and benefit to the community.
