Summary and scope
The City of Armadale (Principal / City) is a local government located about 30km from the CBD in Perth’s south-east. The City covers an area of 560km2 and comprises suburbs including Karagullen, Bedfordale, Roleystone, Kelmscott, Mt Nasura, Armadale, Brookdale and Seville Grove, along with new neighbourhoods in Harrisdale, Piara Waters, Haynes and Hilbert. There are more than 1,800 hectares of parks, reserves and public open space within the City’s boundaries. The Principal requires a suitably qualified and resourced Contractor to effectively and safely control weeds in, Main Roads, and local roads, including verges, roundabouts and median islands, footpaths, kerbing, cycle ways, active reserves, parklands within the boundaries of the City of Armadale. Weed control will be achieved by using non-selective, selective, and pre-emergent herbicides.
