REGISTER OF PREQUALIFIED SUPPLIERS FOR PROVISION OF TRADES AND FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SERVICES

Summary and scope

The North Burnett Regional Council is seeking to create a Register of Prequalified Suppliers for the supply of Trades and Facilities Maintenance Services. The North Burnett region is a local government area in Queensland and covers 19,700 km2 of diverse Australian countryside, shared amongst six main townships: Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto, Mt Perry, Mundubbera, and an additional 25 villages and farming catchments and is located 400 km northwest of Brisbane. The services required include but are not limited to: Air-conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical Installation, servicing and scheduled maintenance of air-conditioners. Trade qualifications, and licenses are required for this service. Builders for repairs and maintenance to various Council facilities (e.g. stairs, window, door repairs and /or replacement) and construction of facilities as required. Trade qualifications, QBCC licences and General Safety Induction (white card) or Construction Industry Blue card (30215QLD) as required for this service. Cabinetmakers for repairs, replacement and general maintenance to facilities. Trade qualifications, QBCC licences and General Safety Induction (white card) or Construction Industry Blue card (30215QLD) as required for this service. Carpenters for repairs and maintenance to various Council facilities (e.g., stairs, window, door repairs and /or replacement). Trade qualifications, QBCC licences and General Safety Induction (white card) or Construction Industry Blue card (30215QLD) as required for this service. Cleaners for general cleaning and site clean of various facilities (e.g., Council depots, libraries and administration centres). No qualifications required however the contractor must have appropriate equipment references and cleaning products / materials. Electricians for the installation, servicing and repairs to Electrical equipment of facilities. Trade qualifications, and licences are required for this service. Floor Covering Professionals for the removal, disposal and installation of floor coverings to facilities. Trade qualifications, and licences preferred for this service. No qualifications required however the contractor must have appropriate equipment references and a minimum of five (5) years practical experience if trade qualifications are not held. Handy Person for minor repairs and maintenance of facilities which do not require completion by a trade qualified contractor. General Safety Induction (white card) or Construction Industry Blue card (30215QLD) as required for this service. Painters for internal and external painting of facilities. Trade qualifications, QBCC licences and General Safety Induction (white card) or Construction Industry Blue card (30215QLD) as required for this service. Plasterers for plastering of new work and repairs and maintenance of existing walls, partitions and panels. Trade qualifications, and licences required for this service. Plumbers for plumbing and drainage work and repairs and maintenance of facilities. Trade qualifications, QBCC licences and General Safety Induction (white card) or Construction Industry Blue card (30215QLD) as required for this service. Steel Fabricators for the supply and installation of steel products including welding repairs to facilities. Trade qualifications, and licences required for this service. Other Trades and Services that are utilised to provide facilities maintenance and support services not covered by the above list. Trade qualifications, and licences are required for these services as appropriate. Suitably qualified Tenderers with proven capability, capacity, and sound financial and technical background to deliver the Specification outlined in this Invitation to Tender are invited to participate in this Invitation to Tender process.
