Summary and scope
Council invites tenders from expert contractors to manage the advertising and maintain Council-owned Bus Stops and Shelters within the municipality over a term of 7 years with 3 x 1 year extensions available at Council’s discretion. The scope includes: maintenance of Council’s Existing and New Bus Shelters at a high level of cleanliness with a prompt response to any damages that may result from accidents or vandalism; management of advertising on Council-owned Bus Shelters and Flag Only Bus Stops to maximise revenue; including but not limited to refurbishing and replacing existing Static Advertising panels to Dynamic Advertising, adding Advertising Panels to Existing Bus Shelters with no Advertising which will provide the necessary funds to install, maintain and upgrade bus stops, shelters and flag poles; delivering 5 Major DSAPT Upgrades to non-compliant stops per year; undertaking upgrades of Flag Only Bus Stops to Sheltered Stops, and upgrading non-DSAPT compliant bus stops and shelters. NOTE: The VendorPanel online forum closes five business days prior to the abovementioned tender closing date. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any Tender, or part thereof. Tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.
