Summary and scope
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced businesses to undertake a range of Services at Roma Saleyards - Australia’s largest cattle selling centre. The new agreement is for a proposed term of 3 years, with a further 2 x 1-year terms at Councils discretion. The previous two contracts for Movement and Control of Stock and NLIS Compliance and Data Collection have been combined into one single contract (schedule 1). Council is also seeking submissions for the Receival Services, previously administered by the Roma Livestock Agents Association. Council has added in to this tender the following separate separable portions - • Schedule 1A: Optional Service • Schedule 2: Receival Services • Schedule 3: Trough cleaning Services These changes are to allow business to be able to provide greater efficiencies in operations, staff retention and value for Council.
