Summary and scope
As part of the City of Bunbury’s (the “Principal”) commitment to a healthy and sustainable environment, moving to net zero emissions, as well as appropriate consideration in reducing operating costs, the Principal is seeking to engage an appropriately skilled and experienced consultant to prepare a Renewables Implementation Plan particularly focused on energy usage reduction. This Implementation Plan needs to follow previous studies undertaken by the Principal, including the Renewables Strategy and Roadmap in 2019 and Energy Audit Report in 2018. These studies focused predominantly on City owned building assets and provided baseline usage information as well as a strategy to measure, benchmark and implement an ongoing strategy for the City to ultimately manage energy consumption. The purpose of this commission is to continue this strategy and to provide an implementation Framework, please refer to attached documents for more information.
