Summary and scope
The Jones Hill Underground Reservoir has reached end of life and needs to be replaced. Council has an existing above ground 4.5ML reservoir with sufficient space next to it for the construction of a new reservoir. A detailed design (75%) has been developed by Ganden Engineers and is included within the Tender Documentation. Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Contractors to finalise the detailed design (75%) for Council approval and supply and install a new 4.5ML precast concrete reservoir. Access to the site is via Corbet Rd, Jones Hill, Gympie. The bulk excavation for the new structure has already been completed.
