Summary and scope

Dear sir/madam Isaac Regional Council (IRC) requires the construction of nine (9) concrete floodway’s providing resilience reducing the likelihood of reconstruction following future flood events. The floodways are located on the following roads; • Pioneer Road, Clermont • Craven Road, Clermont • Laglan Road, Clermont • Rubyvale Road, Clermont At all locations, excluding Rubyvale Road, are existing bed level floodway’s and are formed by unbound gravel sheeting. Isaac Regional Council have undertaken a recent inspection of this area and identified that the road is in good condition notwithstanding normal wear and tear, however, future weather events could change site conditions. The project consists of the construction of 180mm thick reinforced concrete floodway’s (8m x 30m) complete with cut-off walls (upstream, downstream and the approaches) and 30m long 150mm thick insitu cement stabilised pavement on the approaches. Rubyvale Road is an existing raised concrete floodway, This project consists of removal of the 208m long 5.9 wide existing concrete surface, leaving in place the existing batters and cut-off walls. Construction of 180mm thick reinforced concrete surface with sealed approaches. All submissions must be lodged via VendorPanel prior to the tender close time which is 2pm Wednesday 2 August 2023.
