Summary and scope
The City has identified the need to revitalise the courts at Robertson Park Tennis Centre. The City is seeking proposals from experienced, qualified, and reliable organisations within the landscape and sports court construction industry to deliver the project works. The works include the conversion of six (6) of the existing tennis hardcourts into four (4) multi-sport courts, allowing for both tennis and netball games to be played. The works include the resurfacing the courts, replacing the court perimeter fencing, replacing the court floodlighting, and constructing a landscaped ‘Entry Zone’ to better welcome visitors to the Tennis Centre. This project is only the first stage of implementation for the Robertson Park Development Plan and was identified in the draft annual budget for 2023/24 which Council approved.
