The Jondaryan Woolshed (JWS) is a significant TRC asset located in Jondaryan, 40km from Toowoomba. This asset in many ways is challenged by its age and the nature of its existing structures. Many of the structures across the site are historical in nature and are showing signs of visual and structural stress. The site currently remains closed to the public. The purpose of this request is for Council to: Engage a Principal Contractor to carry out the design and construct (D&C) works in relation to the demolition of the existing camp kitchen; The construction of a new camp kitchen; and Modifications to the existing ablutions block to improve site accessibility to enable safe and equitable access.
