Q24028 Bin Lid Changeover Transportation Services

Summary and scope

The City of Stonnington (Council) is seeking transport services for excess bin lid and bin stock from Council’s bin lid changeover project. The bin lid stock is currently stored on approximately 530 pallets in Braeside VIC 3195. Council requires transportation to Prahran Town Hall carpark, Prahran VIC 3181 and/or to Stonnington Waste Transfer Station (43 Weir St, Malvern VIC 3144). Please quote for transportation to both sites. Tasks include: • Onloading of pallets onto the truck (optional) • Transportation of pallets from Braeside (or nominated storage facility) to Prahran and/or Malvern at Council’s request • Offloading of pallets from the truck when transporting to the Prahran Town Hall car park. • Provision of ‘carry-on’ forklift or other suitable methods to offload pallets from the truck at Prahran Town Hall carpark. • Coordination with Council staff to arrange and provide real-time delivery times. • Allocation of a key contact person communication with Council Note: For transportation to the Stonnington Waste Transfer Station, forklift is available on site with Council staff licensed to operate the forklift.
