'Beaudesert Town Centre Country Women's Association (CWA) Building Relocation & Renovation'

Summary and scope

Scenic Rim Regional Council (SRRC) is rejuvenating Beaudesert's Town Centre in a staged series of contract packages. Recently completed works include the Selwyn Street opening with Helen Street (including the Brisbane Street roundabout) as well as extensive stormwater works and a car park upgrade. This tender is to relocate, extend, and renovate the CWA building. Completion is required by the end of December 2023 to meet external funding requirements. Key objectives are to minimize any negative impacts on the community, construct a quality facility for the CWA as well as provide value for money. Separate contract packages will also be undertaken in parallel to upgrade Gateway Park as well as significant drainage, utilities, pavement, and landscaping works along Short and Brisbane Streets. The work site is in a busy commercial center for Beaudesert. As such, there are construction constraints including existing services and the requirement to maintain pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
