Summary and scope
Central Highland Regional Council is seeking the services the following services in the township of Blackwater, Central Queensland: • Gravity sewer mains cleaning • CCTV survey, inspection and defects reporting • Manhole refurbishment and/or replacement • Gravity sewer main patch repair • Section of sewer main re-alignment (including design) if required. The budget for this project will be allocated across two financial years, therefore the project is divided into several Separable Portions with Schedule of Rates Items to enable Council to accept a portion of the works in FY23-24 and accept the balance of the works in FY24-25, subject to budget approval, negating the need to go back out to market. The gravity sewers and maintenance holes along trunk main A and trunk main B may be in very poor condition and care must be taken to prevent any further degradation while undertaking the works. The trunk mains take the entire flow for the township of Blackwater. Some maintenance holes may be inaccessible after rainfall due to their location within the intermittently flowing creek.
