Summary and scope

Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified entity to provide Internal Audit Services on a lump sum price basis on Council property and Council controlled sites throughout the region, including urban and rural locations. Supply of services will be based on a three (3) year Internal Audit Strategic Plan for which the successful respondent will be responsible for reviewing and updating in consultation with relevant Council staff. Council operates under the Three (3) Lines of Defence Risk Model in line with ISO31000:2018 and the successful respondent is expected to undertake and perform the Third (3rd) Line of Defence Internal Audit and Assurance functions. The Contract will be for a period of one (1) year. Subject to satisfactory performance and delivery of services, and at the sole discretion of Council, Council has the option to extend the agreement by a further two (2) periods of twelve (12) months each.
