East Kimberley Regional Airport Runway Extension and Associated Infrastructure Upgrades Stage 2

Summary and scope

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley (hereafter referred to as the Principal) is seeking public Tenders for the Stage 2 upgrade works at East Kimberley Regional Airport. Respondents should note that funding is currently NOT secured to proceed with the project. The Principal is seeking funding under the Commonwealth’s Growing Regions Round 1 Grant. The Principal is running this Tender process in parallel with a funding application in order to commence construction within the grant timeframes, with construction scheduled to commence in April 2024. Respondents should note that the Stage 2 project will only proceed if funding is secured by the Principal. The Principal is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake major construction works at the East Kimberley Regional Airport. The main component of the works is an extension to the existing runway, tie-inns and other associated infrastructure.
