Summary and scope

Central Highland Regional Council (CHRC) is requesting tenders for the installation of a new multi-purpose sports courts consisting of two hard surface Multipurpose Tennis, Basketball & Netball Courts. The scope of works for the Multi-Purpose Tennis, Basketball & Netball Courts involves the design and construction of new concrete hard court facilitating two multi-purpose courts marked for Tennis, Basketball and Netball. The work includes but not limited to the following activities. • Design of Multi-Purpose Courts fencing and electrical lighting including engineering details. • Demolition of existing courts, clubhouse structures will be completed by another company prior to construction works commencing. • Submit completed design at least 14 days prior to commencement of work for CHRC’s endorsement. • Prepare all surfaces and construct foundation for new multi-purpose court (site soil test report will be provided by CHRC in tender docs when received). • Prepare concrete surface and apply durable Acrylic Surface Finish. Minimum product warranty for the acrylic surface is to be four (4) years. • Prepare surface and apply line marking for Tennis, Basketball and Netball on the two multi-purpose courts. • Supply and install 2 x removable nets and posts for the tennis courts complete with net winders and caps. • Supply and install four by netball, basketball backboards, rings, nets, and posts for the multipurpose courts.
