Summary and scope

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking tender responses from suitably qualified organisations to support the continuing activities of Council’s Audit and Risk Committee, which has been established to facilitate: ? the credibility and objectivity of internal and external financial reporting ? the effective management of financial and other risks, and the protection of Council assets ? compliance with laws and regulations, as well as use of best practice guidelines ? the effectiveness of the internal audit function ? effective communication between the external auditor, internal auditor, Management and the Council. As the work of Council’s Audit and Risk Committee needs to be facilitated by an effective internal audit function, the Committee has established a rolling four-year program of internal audit review. ENQUIRIES: Any tender enquiries should be directed to the online forum in VendorPanel. SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can ONLY be submitted electronically by uploading into the VendorPanel System. Respondents will receive a confirmation email response upon completion. Should assistance be required please use the help function or the online chat available from the home page of VendorPanel. Submissions must be fully received by the closing time as late submissions will not be accepted. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. All responses must be made by online submission. Any response made by any other means (open email, facsimile, post or in person) will not be considered.
