ADVANCE TENDER NOTICE Yuleba CBD Recreation Upgrades Purpose: The purpose of this Vendor Panel (VP) event is only for Maranoa Regional Council (Council) to provide Suppliers with an Advance Tender Notice on an upcoming Tender opportunity. There is no need to provide a response to this VP event or register your interest. We ask all interested parties to be mindful of good probity practices, and to refrain from approaching or discussing this opportunity directly with Councillors, Councillor nominees or Council employees. All related communications will only be facilitated through Council’s Procurement Department during the Tender open period. Background: Council has committed funds to upgrade recreation spaces in the community of Yuleba. Works will include: • Construction of a zero depth splash pad and creek, • Installation of proprietary water play equipment; • Nature play construction • Installation of proprietary playground equipment • Concrete works including footpath construction & kerb and channel upgrade • Landscaping, including irrigation • Supply and install shade sails • Fencing The community of Yuleba is co-hosting the Cobb & Co Festival in August 2024, to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the last Cobb & Co Coach Run in Australia. The festival will be held over 10 days, from 16-25 August, with 25,000 visitors expected to visit the area. Council is seeking to have the majority of the works completed prior to the opening of the Festival. Works that are unable to be completed before early August will not commence until after 30 August 2024. Details: Council intends that the opportunity to Tender will be conducted via a Public Open Market Request for Tender (RFT) process. There is no need to provide a response to this Advance Tender Notice VP event or register your interest. The RFT will be carried out via an open VP event and is anticipated to be released in late February 2024. Notification of successful tenderer is expected from mid-April 2024. Council does not guarantee this Advance Tender Notice will result in an open Tender opportunity, and any changes remain at Council’s Sole and Absolute Discretion.
