2024/153 Provision of Mobile Glass Crushing Services

Summary and scope

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking tender responses from suitably qualified contractors capable of efficiently and effectively decontaminating and crushing glass to a size and quality suitable for re-use in an engineered material, for example road construction or bedding sand replacement. The tender covers the decontaminating and crushing of approximately 1,000-1,500 tonnes of glass annually to a glass sand product. ENQUIRIES: Any tender enquiries should be directed to the online forum in VendorPanel. INSPECTION:An inspection of the site to view where the glass is stored and processed will be held at 9am on Wednesday 6 March 2024, 15 Scherger Drive, Mildura. Please register your attendance via email to procurement@mildura.vic.gov.au SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can ONLY be submitted electronically by uploading into the VendorPanel System. Respondents will receive a confirmation email response upon completion. Should assistance be required please use the help function or the online chat available from the home page of VendorPanel. Submissions must be fully received by the closing time as late submissions will not be accepted. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. All responses must be made by online submission. Any response made by any other means (open email, facsimile, post or in person) will not be considered.
