Summary and scope

This contract is for a register of pre-qualified suppliers for the provision of wet and dry hire of plant and equipment. This register of pre-qualified suppliers is being established pursuant to s232 of the Local Government Regulation 2012. Successful suppliers will be placed on a register which will be available to Council officers when selecting suppliers to provide wet and/or dry plant hire services. Plant and equipment to be covered under dry hire on the pre-qualified supplier list includes but is not limited to: Access Equipment Materials Handling Air Equipment Pipeline Testing Compaction Propping Concrete & Masonry Pumps and Fluid Management Construction Lasers Shoring Earthmoving Site Accommodation Generators Forklift Lift and Shift Trucks and Trailers Lighting Welding Stabilisers Profilers Plant and equipment to be covered under wet hire on the pre-qualified supplier list includes but is not limited to: Access Equipment Concrete Line Pumping Crane/Truck Lifting Services Directional Boring Earthmoving/Compaction/Landscaping Equipment Transport Services i.e. Tilt Trays and Trucks Street Sweeping Vacuum Excavation Equipment Stabilisers Profilers The engagement of labour only is not covered by this register. This contract is the replacement contract for the existing panel TR-0449 Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Wet and Dry Hire of Plant and Equipment. All suppliers who want the opportunity to provide Wet and Dry Hire of Plant and Equipment to Council are required to respond to this tender process.
