Summary and scope
Macedon Ranges Shire Council (Council) is seeking a suitable consultant to support the organisation to meet the requirements of the Local Government Act 2020. Council aims to harness the views and involvement of a diverse community through the engagement design and delivery of appropriate messaging and methods. In accordance with the Local Government Act 2020, Council has adopted a Community Engagement Policy that includes deliberative engagement practices capable of being applied to the review and development of the: Community Vision Council Plan Asset Plan Financial Plan, and Council Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan (MHWP), including the Disability Action Plan, both of which will form an identifiable part of the Council Plan.
