Hire of Plant and Equipment Services Preferred Supplier Arrangement

Summary and scope

The City of Moreton Bay Council (Principal) is seeking to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) for the Hire of Plant and Equipment Services with suitably experienced, qualified, and equipped providers. The Request for Tender is divided into two (2) Categories for the Hire of Plant and Equipment Services: Category 1: Wet Hire (with an Operator) Category 2: Dry Hire (without an Operator) The Principal is seeking Tenders from Tenderers able to offer various items of plant and equipment (i.e. machinery and equipment) with an operator under wet hire, and plant and equipment only under dry hire. The minimum standards and requirements that apply to each item of plant and equipment, and each operator are detailed in the RFT documentation. The details regarding the services/works are detailed in the Specification. The Specification is included in CMB-RFT483 Part 2 - Schedule 2 - Specification. IMPORTANT: The Plant and Equipment being sought by the Principal are identified within the 2 tabs on the spreadsheet titled “CMB-RFT483 Part 4 - Schedule of Rates” - Tab 1 ‘Schedule of Rates - Wet Hire’ and Tab 2 Schedule of Rates - Dry Hire. IMPORTANT: The Principal will only consider additional Plant and Equipment where the Tenderer is already tendering for items listed in Tabs 1 & 2 by the Principal and providing a Conforming Tender. Tender Responses received for ONLY additional Plant and Equipment not listed by the Principal, will be deemed non-conforming. Acceptance of any additional Plant and Equipment will remain at the Principal’s sole and absolute discretion.
