Summary and scope
Townsville City Council (TCC) is seeking to engage a panel of pre-qualified and experienced Contractors for Transport and Towing Services within the Townsville Local Government Area (TLGA), including Magnetic Island. The panel will be required to deliver these services when requested, and ensure compliance with local laws and legislation when undertaking these services. The panel will be engaged to transport, or tow, Council owned vehicles and plant, but also deliver hire equipment for Council from local hire companies, within agreed timeframes to various locations within TLGA. The panel will also be required to tow abandoned vehicles and vessels on Councils behalf, and deliver to Councils business partners in Townsville for disposal.
