RP00637 - Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers for Hire of Plant and Equipment

Summary and scope

Noosa Shire Council invites tenders from suitably experienced and resourced suppliers for appointment to a Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers (ROPS) for the hire of plant and equipment (commonly known as Dry Hire) across the Noosa Council local government area. Suppliers are invited to submit a tender for a range of Dry Hire requirements. Specific exclusions include cranes, articulated/dump trucks, concrete pumps, dozers and attachments, drain clean trucks, soil screens, trade waste/vacuum pump. This arrangement does not include the provision for the hire of plant with operator (commonly known as Wet Hire). The ROPS is anticipated to commence on 1 July 2024 and will be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option of two (2) further extensions of up to two (2) years each at Council’s sole discretion. Inclusion onto this ROPS does not provide a guarantee of work/supply during the term of this Contract.
