Kerbside Collection Services for Hardwaste & Mattresses

Summary and scope

Council is seeking Tenders submissions from suitably experienced and capable Contractors for the provision of Kerbside Collection Services for Hardwaste and Mattresses. For the purpose of this contract, the collection services will be set out as separable portions, meaning Tenderers may submit a tender for both services or for one or the other. Hard Waste – collection and processing/recycling and/or disposal of household hardwaste that maximises recovery and reuse from nature-strips and other nominated collection points within the municipality. Mattresses – collection and processing of mattresses and mattress bases that maximises recovery and reuse from nature-strips, other nominated collection points within the municipality and Council’s Waste Recovery Centre located at 307-325 Waterdale Road, Bellfield 3081. TENDER BRIEFING - Council will provide a tender briefing to interested Tenderers during the tender phase. This will occur online (via Microsoft Teams) to maintain anonymity of Tenderers. Council will hold this event on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 9.00am. A formal meeting request will be sent to all interested Tenderers registered in Vendor Panel closer to this date.
