Summary and scope
The Works Under the Contract (WUC) are to be located within the Banana Shire Area. The scope of this tender is for the intermittent short or long term hire, under Council supervision, of contractors able to undertake the general garden maintenance (eg. Replacement of mulch, replanting, removal of weeds, etc.) for various locations throughout Banana Shire’s urban areas. Additionally contractors should be able to create new garden installations, as per Council supplied designs, in parks, open spaces and confined areas such as traffic islands and roundabouts). Activities under this tender may include, but not be limited to, planting, removal and disposal of exhausted mulch and/or soil, supply and spreading of new mulch and/or soil, removal of weeds, installation of other beautification (eg. Feature rocks), supply and installation of mature and/or juvenile plants. Additional activities may be requested by Council within the capabilities of the contractor.
