T2425.08 Register of Prequalified Suppliers (ROPS) Irrigation Installation and Maintenance Services

Summary and scope

Banana Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for appointment as a pre-qualified supplier of Irrigation Installation and Maintenance Services throughout the Shire as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope and Technical Specifications. Prequalified supplier status will be awarded for a period of 1 year with a possible 6-month extension. The Works Under the Contract (WUC) are to be located with the Banana Shire Area. The scope of this tender is for the intermittent short or long term hire, under Council supervision, of contractors able to undertake the inspection and/or maintenance of Council’s existing irrigation systems and for the installation of new irrigation systems as required on a case by case basis. Activities under this tender may include, but not be limited to, inspections of existing irrigation systems, including the generation of a report on the outcomes of the inspection which will include a list of defects found, maintenance of existing irrigation systems based on defects lists supplied by Council and the installation and supply of all materials for new irrigation systems based on irrigation designs supplied by Council. Additional activities may be requested by Council within the capabilities of the contractor.
