Summary and scope

This tender is for the establishment of a Register of Pre-Qualified Contractors under a Standing Offer Agreement, for the hire of Construction Plant and Equipment from suitably qualified contractors to perform planned maintenance services, responsive maintenance services and minor capital works on Rockhampton Regional Council sites. The types of Plant and Equipment that may be required for hiring include: Forklift Light Towers Skid Steer Loaders (with attachments) Backhoes Loaders Soil Spreaders Concrete Cutting, Grinding, Drilling Tools/Equipment Message Boards Street Sweepers Concrete Pumps Pavers Tele-handler Cranes Portable Toilets Temporary Fence Hire Landfill Compactors Profilers Tractors (with attachments) Dozers Ride on Mowers Trailers Drain Cleaning Trucks (high pressure, vacuum) Rollers Trench Diggers Directional Drilling Rigs Scaffolding Trucks Excavators Scrapers Wacker Packer/Plate Compactors Graders Screening Plant Water Trucks Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) (Mast, Boom, Scissor, cherry picker) Shipping Containers Locating Equipment e.g., underground cable locators Line Marking Removal Site Offices Shoring Equipment Various combinations of the above including: Excavator/Skid Steer Loader/Truck, Skid Steer Loader/Truck and Excavator/Truck.
