Summary and scope

Narrabri Shire Council are seeking a suitably qualified contractor to supply and install Shelters, BBQ’s and Furniture for the redevelopment of the Tourism Hub located in the area behind The Crossing Theatre and Visitor Information Centre at 117 Tibbereena Street, Narrabri NSW 2390. The scope of works shall include, but not be limited to, supply and install the following: • Shelters • Site Furniture All furniture and BBQ’s, including shelters are to be removable in times of flood, and built in accordance with the Design for construction and all relevant standards. This is a Quality Assured Contract with method of payment being by Lump Sum. The General Conditions of Contract shall be AS4000-2025, inclusive if Annexures Part A, B and C. The Contract is to be completed within twelve (12) weeks of the nominated date. Direction from the Superintendent for the date of contract commencement is listed in Section 2 Part 1 principal Project Requirements Clause 1.4. Tender Documents can be downloaded and Tenders submitted electronically via Council’s E-tendering portal at www.vendorpanel.com Tenders must be lodged no later than 9.00am, Monday 17 November 2025. All enquiries and requests for clarification regarding this Request for Tender (RFT) must be submitted via the question forum on VendorPanel. Questions must be posted to the open RFT through the VendorPanel online portal. This ensures transparency and equal access to information for all prospective tenderers. Suppliers must not contact directly by phone or email. All communication must occur through the VendorPanel forum to maintain fairness and a clear audit trail. We encourage all interested suppliers to ‘Follow’ the Tender in VendorPanel.
