ITT2514 Construction of Amenities Building and Canopy Structure - Mooloolaba Foreshore Stage 2

Summary and scope

Council’s multi-staged Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation project is currently in the delivery of Stage 2, which consists of the Central Meeting Place and Southern Seawall. Council is now seeking to procure the building works (Amenities Building and Canopy Structure) to be delivered as part of Stage 2 of the Project. Council is now seeking the services of an appropriately qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the construction of an Amenities Building and Canopy Structure, which will be delivered as part of the Stage 2 works. Respondents are put on notice that immediately upon award, the contract will be novated from Council to the Principal Contractor, SEE Civil Pty Ltd (ABN 88 115 963 427), who is currently delivering the Mooloolaba Foreshore Stage 2 Project. By submitting a Tender Response to this Invitation to Tender, Respondent’s acknowledge and accept that the contract will be novated to the Principal Contractor upon award. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to: 1. Construction of Amenities Building 2. Construction of Canopy Structure This is a lump sum construction contract, with Council seeking to engage one Contractor to undertake the entire construction program of works. The successful Contractor will be required to provide all materials, plant and labour, and to perform all necessary operations of whatever kind, to ensure the completion of works associated with this Contract. It is anticipated that works will commence late February 2026, with functional completion no later than 28 August 2026.
