2022.094 - Supply of Services & Purchase of Goods of Tyres for Plant and Heavy Vehicle

Summary and scope

Mount Barker District Council (Council) invites Tenders from suitably qualified Tenderers for the service of condition evaluation, fitting, roadside assistance and purchase and fitting of tyres for Council’s Heavy Vehicles and Plant (the Services and Goods). This Specification is for the supply of scheduled preventative tyre servicing, repairs and maintenance and at request the provision of emergency and infield tyre repair (“Services”) for the Mount Barker District Council’s (“Council”) plant, heavy vehicle fleet, mowers, trailers and associated equipment (“Plant”). The Council maintains a fleet of earthmoving equipment, heavy vehicles and trailers (excluding light fleet) in order to deliver the required public works throughout the district. The Council has an ongoing requirement for the provision of scheduled preventative servicing, maintenance and emergency in field repairs of Tyres. The Plant predominately operate within the Mount Barker District Council boundaries but may also access surrounding areas for provision of rubble and materials from suppliers in surrounding districts. Council will enter into a Contract for the Purchase of Services & Goods with the successful Tenderer for an initial period of three (3) years with the option of two 12-month extensions.
