Summary and scope

The City of West Torrens (the Council) invites Tenders from Tenderers for the provision of the new Karkungka Community Facility, (the Works). The Council will enter into a Contract for Works with the successful Tenderer. This project is the replacement of the existing clubroom facilities with a new 850m2 (approx.) community facility, alongside the renovation of the existing CAFHS building. The new facility includes a spacious entry foyer, flexible functions area, commercial and warm-up kitchens, bar area and connections to the recently completed outdoor space / park. This facility will cater to a wide range of activities including family / cultural celebrations, training / workshops, meetings and education programs. The CAFHS building will be renovated to include a kitchen, bathroom and storage areas. Refer to RFQ documents for additional information. Note: Compliance with the Council's online tool for managing contractors' Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems is a mandatory requirement. Please refer to Schedule 6 for detailed information. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a non-conforming submission, and such submissions will not be considered during the evaluation process.
