Bundaberg Regional Council has identified several miscellaneous premises at the Bundaberg Regional Airport that are suitable for lease. Council’s objective is to facilitate opportunities for businesses and private individuals to gain tenure of sites at the Bundaberg Regional Airport for various aviation-related uses. The Bundaberg Regional Airport is located on Airport Drive in Kensington QLD 4670, 6km southwest of the Bundaberg CBD and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, serving as a regional aviation hub. The Airport hosts scheduled passenger services by QantasLink and Link Airlines, major national car hire businesses and aeromedical services, such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service and RACQ LifeFlight. It also supports the seasonal deployment of the Queensland Fire Department’s Large Air Tanker and other air resources. Additional facilities include an aircraft maintenance facility, aviation fuel suppliers, private hangars and flying schools. The Airport is a gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, local sandy beaches and tourist attractions such as the Mon Repos turtle hatchery, Bundaberg Rum, and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.
