The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Canteen Refurbishment at Mount Gravatt SHS, located at 42 Loreburn St, Mount Gravatt QLD 4122, as part of the School Subsidy Scheme (SSS) program. The existing canteen is located on the ground floor of the building with walkways all round. The canteen contains a food preparation/cooking area, food storage equipment, a cold room and office space. The position of the building is near the front of the school with easy access along a drivable road. All works are to be completed by April 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: ? Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works ? Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00 ? Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance ? Minimum PQC rating level 2 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Medium rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project.
