SA252 Supplier Arrangement for Dry Hire of Plant and Equipment

Summary and scope

Sunshine Coast Council (Council) are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the establishment of a Supplier Arrangement for the dry hire of plant and equipment. Council requires a range of safe, reliable and environmentally sensitive plant and equipment for the delivery of operational works, capital works, and emergency and disaster relief work at locations throughout the Sunshine Coast local government area. Respondents are invited to submit Tenders for any or all of the following categories: A. Access B. Arboriculture and Horticulture C. Heavy Plant and Equipment D. Light Plant and Equipment E. Generator & Power Equipment F. Propping and Shoring G. Safety and Protection H. Site Equipment and Storage I. Water Management. Details of Plant and Equipment under each Category can be found in Schedule 6 - Appendix 2 - Schedule of Rates – Part 4. Respondents are not required to price all items. Items priced under this Arrangement will form a Standing Offer, until accepted by Council Order. The Dry Hire Plant and Equipment Schedule of Products will be reviewed quarterly at the discretion of Council. This Arrangement will be established for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option of one (1) further twenty-four (24) month extension. Council is seeking to establish a panel of 8-10 suppliers for the provision of dry hire services. Council does not provide a guarantee of supply to any supplier during the term of this Arrangement.
