Summary and scope
Sunshine Coast Council (Council) requires a Principal Contractor to construct a new amenity building at Dicky Beach Holiday Park in Caloundra. Secondary works on site include a roof replacement on an existing amenity building within the park. The new amenity building is located at the back end of the site and will have access via Coochin Street. The holiday park is owned by Council with an onsite manager in place to manage the day to day operations of the park. The new amenity building will support the upgraded camp sites recently completed. The roof replacement is on the existing amenities 2 structure which has an existing concrete roof that leaks and requires a new trussed roof over the top, which will be aesthetically in line with adjacent buildings. Construction Works will include, but not be limited to: • Preliminary setup, environmental & site preparation. • Prepare site for construction works. • Installation of footing and service installations • Concrete Slab. • Retaining Walls • New Blockwork & Insulated Sheeting. • Civil & Structural works. • Electrical & Hydraulic works. • Painting and Waterproofing and fit out trades. • Undertake CTP testing , concrete testing. • Site management including safety; traffic and pedestrian management. • Compiling to Councils additional Safety and Sun safety requirements. • Landscape and full remediation of any damage to site. • Full commissioning and certification, provision of handover documentation including ADAC and as-constructed details. • Provide weekly reports issued on Fridays outlining past and future works for the following week in line with Council reporting sheet.
