Summary and scope

3.1 FORM OF CONTRACT 3.1.1 This contract is to be a schedule of rates contract. 3.1.2 The Supplier must not commence work on the variation to the Goods and Services unless and until the variation is agreed in writing by the Principal and the Supplier. 3.2 SPECIFICATION All Works described above to be completed in accordance with Department of Transport and Main Roads Technical Standards as applicable. PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Schedule A –Raised Pedestrian Crossings – Riddle Street, Goondiwindi –Supply, Cart and Lay Asphalt Aim is to construct a raised pedestrian crossings on Riddle Street in Goondiwindi, at the intersection with Lagoon St. Crossing is to be constructed to as per below sketch. 3.2.1 Work Details 3.2.1.1 Profile edges of raised pedestrian crossing down 100mm to key in asphalt to existing surface. 3.2.1.2 Supply, Cart, Lay and shape Heavy Duty Dense Grade Asphalt layers (AC 10H mix) to achieve 100mm thick to as per design. 3.2.1.3 Traffic Control to be provided by contractor. Profiling’s to be trucked to the Goondiwindi Council Depot (52 Barwon Highway). 3.2.2 PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Schedule B – Russell/Albert St Roundabout – Surface Rehab - Profile, Spray Seal and Supply, Cart and Lay Asphalt 3.2.3 Work Details 3.2.3.1 ALL WORKS ARE TO BE UNDERTAKEN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8PM AND 5AM 3.2.3.2 Profile 40mm of pavement from existing surface. 3.2.3.3 Undertake two deep lift asphalt repairs on Russell Street either side of the traffic island (refer to image below) (5m2.5m and 20m2.5m) 3.2.3.4 Supply, Cart, Heat and Spray C170 bitumen to newly profiled surface. Cover aggregate to be organised and spread by contractor. 3.2.3.5 Supply, Cart and Lay one Heavy Duty Dense Grade Asphalt layers (AC 10H mix) nominally min 40mm thick. Asphalt is to be laid to match existing surface. 3.2.3.6 Traffic Control to be provided by contractor. 3.2.4 General Specifications 3.2.4.1 Levels are to be profiled to approximately 40mm below existing surface. 3.2.4.2 Profiling’s to be trucked to the Goondiwindi Council Depot (52 Barwon Highway) 3.2.4.3 Works are over at the intersection of Russell, Herbert and Callandoon Streets in Goondiwindi. See image below showing the area proposed to be resurfaced. 3.3 TIMEFRAMES 3.3.1 The works under this contract are expected to be completed before 20th February 2026 .
