Summary and scope
Douglas Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for carrying out dredging activities in the Daintree River ferry channel as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope. Dredging will be carried out using a barge-mounted excavator on the ferry. The ferry will be provided by the Principal. Material will be transported via body trucks to a temporary stockpile site located approximately 600m from the dredging location.
