The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a New Canteen Building at Glamorgan Vale SS, located at 750 Glamorgan Vale Rd, Glamorgan Vale QLD 4306, as part of the Playground and Tuckshop Grant (PTG) program. The new building will house a commercial canteen containing various kitchen equipment including but not limited to prep areas, ovens, fridges and freezers, washing machines and dishwashers. The position of the building is at the southern corner of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by March 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract. Submissions close on 14/11/2025 at 3:00pm via email to tenders@honeywill.com.au
