Supply and Delivery of Batteries

Summary and scope

Queensland Rail requires a reliable supply of type-approved batteries to support the operation and maintenance of its Signalling, Communications, Power systems throughout the network and across its Rollingstock fleet. Tenderers who wish to access the Tender Documents must have a SAP Ariba network account and register the account to do business with Queensland Rail to enable visibility of your Ariba profile. To register, please refer to the Ariba Registration of Company Profile guide. You must also then register interest by emailing the Contract Officer (michelle.mcdonald@qr.com.au) providing the following details: - Name of Tendering Organisation - Ariba Network ID(ANID) - ABN - Name of Tender Representative - Email Address of Tender Representative (this should be the email address that you also log into Ariba with) - Phone number Queensland Rail will only accept tender responses submitted via the Ariba Sourcing system. For this Tender (QRP-25-56), the information uploaded on Vendor Panel is not all of the Tender information, however, is enough information for the suppliers/ interested to determine whether the scope of works is suitable for their company profile. If a company is interested, please follow the above steps. Ariba Sourcing, Queensland Rail's tendering system, is the only tendering tool that Tenderers must use to submit their responses. Queensland Rail will not accept any physical responses or responses via email or Vendor Panel website. Refer to the attached Ariba Guide for Suppliers for Instructions on how to navigate Ariba Sourcing (Once your interest has been registered). All communication must be sent through to the nominated Queensland Rail Contact Officer.
