Summary and scope
Contract No. T26001 - Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park Oval Redevelopment Works Tenders are invited for undertaking the Redevelopment works to the Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park Oval. City of Stonnington seeks the services of an experienced, qualified and licensed Contractor to undertake the redevelopment works for the Ovals at Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park (adjacent to Stonnington Sports Centre). This Contract encompasses the reconstruction of the two Ovals (East and West) abutting one another to deliver a new, multipurpose and sustainable Sportsground to facilitate a diverse and larger range of Sporting Groups (such as Cricket, Lacrosse and Soccer) and potentially future proofing for additional sporting groups (such as: AFL, Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee). The Scope also includes the delivery of the remaining components as outlined within the larger Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park Masterplan and as further specified in the Scope (such as Batting Cages, Fitness Stations, New Pathways around the Ovals, Ball Protection Nets, etc.) The Contractor must hold a commercial builder license to carry out certain components outlined within the scope of works for this Contract. A non-mandatory tender briefing will be held on site on Thursday 6 November 2025. Please refer to Part A of the tender documents for more information. Tenderers to note: Council acknowledges that this Tender package has been issued with partially completed detailed design documentation. This early release is intentional and aims to allow prospective Tenderers to determine their interest in tendering for this project, with additional time to review the available information, commence preliminary planning, and make early enquiries (e.g., on turf stock availability and lead times) for this time-sensitive project. The Tender period has also been extended accordingly, with the remaining detailed drawings and supporting documents to be issued as an addendum during the Tender period, ensuring Tenderers have sufficient time to finalise their submissions upon receipt of the complete tender package. NOTE: The Vendor Panel online forum closes two business days prior to the abovementioned tender closing date. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any Tender, or part thereof. Tenders received after the closing time will not be considered.
