Summary and scope

Maranoa Regional Council invites additional contractors to become a supplier on the Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers for Material Production Services (Winning & Crushing). If you have already submitted a tender response through previous tenders and have been successful, then you DO NOT NEED to submit another tender. Multiple tenders have been released to ensure all interested suppliers have an opportunity to submit their tender. It is anticipated that successful Tenderer/s may be engaged to complete services at the Roma Quarry (owned and operated by Maranoa Regional Council) and/or any number of ancillary material pits throughout the region. All production will be carried out in compliance with the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 and the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Regulation 2017, and all conditions of permits issued by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection. It is Council’s intention to select a range of Contractors to service the Maranoa Regional Council area capable of undertaking various type of works, such as but not limited to: • Production of road base and aggregates in Council’s hard rock quarry. • Ripping and pushing material in regionally located pits. • Crushing of material in regionally located pits.
