RFT2526-07 Tree Amenity Maintenance Program

Summary and scope

The Town is seeking a suitable and qualified contractor to deliver the ongoing amenity tree maintenance program. The program is designed to cover the management of street trees, public open space trees and the vegetation across the Towns properties and facilities. The program is designed to ensure appropriate maintenance is carried out in accordance with best arboriculture standards and practices, workplace health and safety requirements, and environmental sustainability requirements. Contractors are expected to demonstrate their capacity to deliver safe, high quality, and cost-effective services while minimising risk to the community and environment. The trees that are covered in the program include street trees, verge trees, public open space tress and trees located on Town property and facilities unless otherwise advised by the Town officer.
