Details of the site inspection will be advised in the tender documentation issue email. The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Oval Retaining Wall Rectifications at Pacific Pines State High School, located at 5 Archipelago St, Pacific Pines QLD 4211, as part of the Targeted (TMP) program. The scope of works generally consists of the construction of a new retaining wall structure to relieve the load of the existing oval retaining wall. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minimum PQC rating Level 2 with certifier 3rd Party Quality Assurance and QBCC Builder’s Licence to undertake the full scope of works. Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited. Information regarding the Pre-Qualified Contractor (PQC) rating system can be found on the Department of Public Works website: http://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/construction/PrequalificationBuildingSuppliers/BuildingConsultants/Pages/PQCSystemOverview.aspx It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract. Submissions close on 21/11/2025 at 3:00pm via email to tenders@honeywill.com.au
