Summary and scope
Sunshine Coast Council is seeking an experienced Contractor for the design and construction of a pump track facility at Lions Norrie Job Park, Coolum Beach, to deliver a safe, inclusive, and sustainable recreational space that integrates with existing park infrastructure. The project consists of the following: Design works includes, but is not limited to: • Project initiation • Concept design • Preliminary design • Design review meetings • Construction documentation including all required engineering works Construction works will include, but not be limited to: • Site preparation • Provision of traffic control • Environmental management and erosion and sediment control • Protection of existing services • Site management including safety; traffic and pedestrian management. • Site works and subcontractor management • Commissioning and certification, provision of handover documentation including ADAC. • Maintenance period 12 weeks for landscape and 52 weeks for trees This is a lump sum design and construction contract with an anticipated commencement of January 2026, with Functional Completion required by September 2026. The successful contractor will be required to provide all materials, plant and labour to perform all necessary operations, to ensure delivery of the scope of works associated with this Contract. Council anticipates the cost of the project to be between $450,000 and $500,000 including all phases from concept design to construction and establishment. An information session will be held on site on 11 November 2025. Details are provided in Schedule 2.
