Youth Mural at Gipps Street Recreation Precinct

Summary and scope

Penrith City Council is seeking a Western Sydney or Sydney based artist to engage with the diverse young people that use Gipps Street Recreation Precinct, to create a 11 x 3 metre mural. The artist will prepare a youth engagement plan, enabling young people to creatively inform and participate in the concept design and delivery of the mural. Youth engagement will take place during December 2025-January 2026 school holidays. The mural will be completed in time to launch during NSW Youth Week in April 2026. Relevant insurances, Working With Children Check (WWCC), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are required as outlined in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation.
